Cocoa butter, PURA VITAMINE E, is natural from cocoa beans and is extracted during the chocolate manufacturing process. It is one of the most stable fats, containing natural antioxidants that prevent it from becoming rancid, allowing its conservation for a period of 2 to 5 years. It is used in various cosmetics and skin care products and soaps. Cocoa butter has a melting point of about 34 to 38 degrees Celsius (93 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit) and is made up of about 96.6% of triglycerides (which are made up of a glycerol molecule attached to 3 fatty acids or fatty).
